Planning Engineer Needed -Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team for large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning, scheduling, project controls, and progress monitoring for roads, utilities, and civil infrastructure projects. The candidate must be highly proficient in Primavera P6 and capable of managing project schedules from planning through commissioning and handover.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 8–10 years of planning experience with reputable contracting companies.
Proven experience on large-scale infrastructure, roads, and utilities projects is mandatory.
Required Project Experience

The successful candidate must have planning and project controls experience in:

Roads and highways.
Earthworks, grading, and pavement works.
Water transmission and distribution networks.
Sewerage and wastewater networks.
Stormwater drainage systems.
Irrigation networks.
Electrical and telecom underground utilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update project baseline schedules using Primavera P6.
Prepare engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover schedules.
Prepare recovery schedules and revised project programs.
Perform resource loading, cost loading, manpower planning, equipment histograms, cash flow forecasts, and S-curves.
Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
Conduct Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis.
Perform delay analysis and prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and productivity analysis.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and executive presentations.
Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, procurement, commercial departments, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
Ensure proper construction sequencing for roads and utility infrastructure works.
Technical Skills
Expert knowledge of Primavera P6.
Strong understanding of project planning and project controls.
Excellent knowledge of CPM, EVM, delay analysis, and risk management.
Experience in schedule recovery and project performance analysis.
Advanced reporting and presentation skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent teamwork and stakeholder management capabilities.
