Electrical Engineer Needed -Riyadh,Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in generators to lead a dedicated team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a supervisory and technical management role — the engineer will oversee and direct a team of 4 technicians (electrical and mechanical) and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the quality of all generator-related operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, guide, and coordinate a team of 4 electrical and mechanical technicians on all generator-related tasks

Plan and schedule preventive maintenance programs for diesel and gas-powered generators

Assess and diagnose technical issues, then delegate repair and maintenance tasks to the appropriate technicians

Review and approve work completed by the team, ensuring quality and safety standards are met

Monitor generator performance, load capacity, fuel consumption, and overall system health

Saudi Arabia business
Coordinate emergency response plans during power failures and ensure swift team deployment

Liaise with management and other departments regarding planned shutdowns, load testing, and project updates

Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance schedules, and submit technical reports to management

Ensure all operations comply with electrical safety regulations and company standards

Train and upskill technicians as needed to maintain team competency

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in generator systems (diesel/gas gensets), with at least some exposure to a supervisory or team lead role

Interview preparation tools
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Strong technical knowledge of generator systems

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a mixed technical team

Experience with generator brands such as Caterpillar, Cummins, Perkins, or FG Wilson is an advantage

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance reports

Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively
