Accountant Needed -Riyadh , Saudi Arabia

Company seeking to hire a Senior Accountant to join its team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review daily accounting entries.
* Prepare periodic financial statements and reports.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Perform bank reconciliations and monitor accounts.
* Review accounts receivable and payable and follow up on collections.
* Prepare monthly and year-end closing entries.
* Prepare and review VAT and tax returns.
* Monitor cash flow and prepare related reports.
* Analyze revenues and expenses and provide recommendations to management.
* Manage fixed assets and calculate depreciation.
* Review and approve financial reconciliations and general ledger accounts.
* Participate in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
* Prepare financial and management reports to support decision-making.
* Coordinate with government entities and external auditors.
* Develop and improve internal financial controls and procedures.
* Supervise accounting staff and ensure the accuracy of accounting operations.
* Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations and requirements.
* Monitor direct and indirect project costs.
* Prepare project profitability reports and variance analyses.
* Review and approve contractors’ and suppliers’ payment certificates.
* Monitor purchase orders and contracts and reconcile them with actual costs.
* Monitor project budgets and ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
* Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
* Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Full availability and ability to join immediately.
