Bright East Steel Company (BESCO) is expanding its team and is seeking a qualified and experienced Welding Inspector to support our steel structural manufacturing operations. Position : Welding Inspector

Role & Responsibilities

• Monitor welding procedures including Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)
• Verify Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) and ensure welders meet required standards
• Perform Visual Testing (VT) inspections of welding activities
• Review and verify Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) results including RT, UT, MT, and PT
• Ensure all welding activities comply with project specifications and quality requirements

Requirements
• Valid Saudi Aramco Approval status (Mandatory)
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas projects
• Experience in the steel structural fabrication industry
• Strong knowledge of inspection procedures, documentation, and quality control processes

Certifications
• Saudi Aramco Approved Welding Inspector (Mandatory)
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or CSWIP 3.1
• NDT Level II Certification

Key Quality Control Responsibilities
• Compliance Verification: Ensure all work complies with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Materials System Specifications (SAMSS), and approved drawings
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain Daily Inspection Reports (DIR), Request for Inspection (RFI), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
• Inspection Coordination: Perform visual, physical, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections during pre-fabrication, fabrication, installation, and final inspection stages to ensure quality standards are met
