Position: Structural Fabricator
Location: Jubail – Saudi Arabia
Candidate Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Advance Edge Co. LTD is seeking an experienced and skilled Structural Fabricator to carry out fabrication of structural steel components and ensure all works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Role Overview:
The Structural Fabricator will be responsible for fabrication, assembly, and fitting of structural steel components at workshop and/or site, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication & Execution
• Perform fabrication of structural steel components including beams, columns, brackets, platforms, ladders, handrails, and supports
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists
• Carry out cutting, fitting, grinding, drilling, and assembly of steel members as per approved drawings
• Ensure correct dimensions, alignment, and tolerances during fabrication
• Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely (cutting machines, grinders, drilling machines, etc.)
Quality & Safety Control
• Ensure fabrication works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
• Conduct self-inspections of fabricated items and report any deviations or defects
• Follow approved HSE procedures and use required PPE at all times
• Maintain good housekeeping in fabrication and work areas
Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and QA/QC personnel for fabrication activities
• Support inspections with QA/QC, clients, and consultants
• Report daily fabrication progress and material usage to the supervisor
• Assist in resolving fabrication-related technical issues
Technical Skills Required:
• Ability to read and understand structural and fabrication drawings
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication methods and materials
• Familiarity with welding symbols and basic fabrication tolerances
• Experience in using fabrication tools and measuring instruments
• Understanding of quality requirements and inspection processes
Requirements:
• Diploma / ITI / Trade Certificate in Structural Fabrication or related field
• 3–5 years of experience as a Structural Fabricator (industrial or infrastructure projects preferred)
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or Gulf projects is an advantage
• Good workmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
