Technical After Sales Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Aftersales & Technical Support
Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for supplied fans and ventilation systems.
Investigate and resolve product performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction.
Prepare detailed service reports, root cause analyses, and recommendations for corrective actions.
Coordinate with factories and engineering teams for warranty claims and technical evaluations.
2. Equipment Selection & Design Support
Perform fan and HVAC equipment selection based on project specifications, airflow, pressure, and environmental requirements.
Support sales and project teams with technical data, equipment sizing, and compliance documentation.
Review tender documents and assist in preparing compliant technical submittals.
3. Commissioning & Site Activities
Supervise installation and commissioning of HVAC fans and related control systems.
Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation, orientation, and performance of equipment.
Perform testing and balancing activities when required.
4. Customer Relations
Act as a technical liaison between customers, contractors, and internal departments.
Provide training and product demonstrations to end users and service teams.
Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure post-installation support and service excellence.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain service reports, test certificates, compliance records, and performance data.
Track service cases, warranty claims, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in HVAC, ventilation, or manufacturing industry.
Hands-on experience with fans preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS integration, and control logic.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in fan selection software and HVAC design tools.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
Understanding of AMCA, ISO, and relevant HVAC standards.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently at sites and collaboratively within a team.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel to project sites within the region.
Valid driving license preferred.
