MEP Estimation Engineer
Job Description
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Quantify material, labor, and equipment requirements.
Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and bid proposals.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
Collaborate with project, procurement, and engineering teams.
Suggest value engineering solutions and cost-optimization strategies.
Support in tender submissions and negotiation processes.
🔹 Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in MEP estimation within contracting firms.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and industry standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to handle tight deadlines with accuracy.
