Inspection Engineer – Transmission & Substation Projects (KSA)
Job Description
Job Purpose:
Conduct practical knowledge transfer and sample inspections of substation transmission equipment at the site, utilizing checklists, data forms, and work instructions to effectively train and support site personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out sample in-line inspections on transmission equipment :
High Voltage (HV) / Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations (11kV to 380kV)
Transmission lines (OHTL and UG cables)
Control, protection, and communication layouts
Illustrate how the site personnel uses the QA/QC check lists, work instructions, and data forms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical).
Minimum experience of 10 years, of which 5 years shall be in Middle East, preferably in SEC/Aramco/NG projects.
Must have experience of Inspection activities in Power Industry.
Must be able to communicate in English language, both written and spoken in a professional level.
Preferred:
Previous experience working on Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects.
Arabic language skills are a plus but not required.
Working Conditions:
6-day workweek
Project office or site-based (depending on phase)
Must be willing to relocate within Saudi Arabia as required by the project
