Job Description

Arkan Al-Afdal Contracting Company is seeking a talented and experienced Architectural Engineer to contribute to the design and execution of our prestigious NWC building rehabilitation project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review architectural designs, plans, and drawings for rehabilitation and upgrade work.

• Ensure all designs comply with NWC standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and structural engineers to integrate design elements.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction aligns with design specifications.

• Prepare and submit material samples, method statements, and technical documents for client approval.

• Provide solutions to design challenges and support the project team in implementing changes.

• Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained throughout execution.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or related field.

• 5-8 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in rehabilitation, refurbishment, or upgrade projects.

• Experience working on government or utility projects (e.g., NWC) is a strong advantage.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software.

• Strong knowledge of Saudi building codes, standards, and regulations.

• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
