Electrical Motor LV/HV Technician (Fitter)

QAZ International Co., a reputed electro-mechanical service provider based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, is looking for skilled and experienced candidates for the following position:

Position: Electrical Motor LV/HV Technician (Fitter)

Key Responsibilities:

• Dismantle, inspect, diagnose faults, repair, and reassemble LV & HV electric motors and generators (AC/DC).

• Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, balancing, and assembly activities.

• Conduct testing such as Insulation Resistance, Tan Delta, Surge, Hi-Pot, Vibration, and PD tests.

• Ensure all repair work complies with IEC, IEEE, and NEMA quality standards.

• Maintain and calibrate workshop tools and equipment as per schedule.

• Prepare inspection reports and maintain proper documentation.

• Follow safety and housekeeping standards in the workshop.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical certification.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in motor rewinding and repair workshops.

• Experience with HV/LV motors, generators, alternators, and other rotating equipment.

• Familiarity with EASA, IEC, IEEE, and ISO standards preferred.

• GCC or OEM experience will be an added advantage.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong knowledge of motor fitting, assembly, and testing procedures.

• Ability to read and interpret motor drawings and nameplates.

• Proficiency in using testing instruments such as megger, surge tester, PD tester, and vibration analyzer.

• Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
