CP2 Engineer

We are ZAKCO ( Cathodic Protection EPC Company ) located in Dammam, looking for a CP2 engineer on Visa /Transfer Basis for our Ongoing Project in OMPP.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Cathodic Protection Level 2 Technician will be responsible for executing advanced cathodic protection activities including testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of CP systems for various metallic structures. This position involves both field work and office-based tasks, ensuring CP systems are operating efficiently to prevent corrosion on buried or submerged assets such as pipelines, storage tanks, well casings, and other critical infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of CP systems, including rectifiers, anodes, test stations, and reference electrodes.

• Conduct installation and commissioning of both galvanic and impressed current CP systems.

• Carry out interference testing and assist in the implementation of effective mitigation measures.

• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for internal and client use.

• Provide technical support and guidance to field teams, ensuring adherence to cathodic protection standards and best practices.

• Perform detailed CP surveys.
