Construction site engineer
Site Engineer plays a critical role in overseeing and managing construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They serve as a key link between the technical design and the practical implementation on-site. Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and workflow. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship. Monitor and report on project progress, resolving technical issues that may arise during construction. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation on-site. Manage resources such as labor, materials, and equipment effectively. Interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate implementation. Maintain project documentation including daily logs, material records, and inspection reports. Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols. Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams on-site. Familiarity with project management and construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project). Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
