1) Maintenance Electrical/Electronics Engineer – Job Description
Is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of electrical and electronic systems in industrial environments. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, increasing equipment efficiency, and extending the lifecycle of electrical/electronic assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose faults in PLCs, sensors, drives, control panels, motors, and automation systems.
• Carry out regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support continuous production by providing rapid troubleshooting and repair of breakdowns.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, maintenance logs, and calibration records.
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and reliability improvement projects.
• Ensure adherence to electrical safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to optimize overall equipment performance.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with electrical circuits, power distribution, and protection systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Typical Background:
• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
• Related experience in Glass processing or any manufacturing industry is preferable.
