We’re looking for dedicated and skilled Safety & Fire Fighting Design Engineers to join our team in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable engineering consultancy where safety, innovation, and precision are at the core of everything we do.

We currently have multiple openings for motivated professionals with a passion for design, safety, and engineering excellence:

1 Position: Senior Safety & Fire Fighting Design Engineer (4–5 years of experience)

2 Positions: Safety & Fire Fighting Design Engineer (2–3 years of experience)

About the Role:

As a Safety & Fire Fighting Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that health, safety, and environmental (HSE) principles are seamlessly integrated into all stages of engineering design and construction. You’ll help develop fire protection systems, review designs for compliance with local and international standards, and ensure all projects meet the highest safety benchmarks.You’ll be working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver world-class engineering solutions that prioritize people, property, and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and integrate Safety & Fire design concepts into engineering projects from the early planning stages to execution.

Ensure designs comply with Fire & Safety codes, standards, and client specifications, including NFPA, API, OSHA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.

Prepare and review Safety Concept Reports, Fire Protection Layouts, Escape Route Diagrams, Fire & Gas Detection System Designs, and related deliverables.

Participate in design and model reviews (3D model, P&ID) to provide safety and fire input.

Review vendor documentation and engineering drawings for compliance with safety and fire protection standards.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure safety remains a priority throughout design, construction, and operation phases.

Support incident investigations by providing design-related analysis and recommendations.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of safety and technical excellence.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and certification bodies to ensure project approval and compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Safety & Fire Engineering (or equivalent).

2–6 years of experience in Safety & Fire Fighting Design within industrial or infrastructure sectors.

Solid understanding of international Safety & Fire standards and codes (NFPA, API, ISO, OSHA, etc.).

Experience with safety design and analysis software tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with clients.

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality engineering.

Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.
