This is a full-time on-site role for a Testing & Commissioning Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Testing & Commissioning Engineer of Electrical Distribution network in Saudi Electricity Company.The Testing & Commissioning Engineer will have day-to-day tasks such as testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.

The candidate Must be able to perform Cable line tracing, IR, Partial Discharge, Cable fault location & identification.

Cable fault locator (CFL):

Finding and Localizing of MV cable fault any size / type.

Finding & Localizing of LV cable fault any size / type.

Cable Line Tracing:

Determine the route / identification of an existing MV & LV cable , any type/size Using SEC approved devices /tools

Medium voltage system/Low Voltage system and switchgear testing & commissioning.

Testing of HV cable using VLF and submission of required reports as per SEC requirements.

Testing of IR for HV cable and submission of required reports as per SEC requirements.

Three phase transformer turns ratio test.

Testing of TAN-DELTA for HV cable and submission of required reports as per SEC requirements

Medium voltage system/Low Voltage system and switchgear, testing & commissioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

With 5 Years Experience in field service

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams

Experience with transformers, switchgear, and protection, and experience working in the distribution network of Saudi Electricity Company

Fluent in English is required (Arabic is advantage)

Transferable & Valid Iqama holders will be given preference.
