Design Engineer – Electrical

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer – Electrical to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical design drawings, load calculations, material specifications, and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and review electrical design drawings, schematics, and layouts for projects.
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, and panel board designs.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and cable sizing.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to ensure design integration.
• Review and interpret client requirements, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Support site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure designs comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in electrical design for power or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, or similar design tools.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in MV/LV distribution systems design.
• Familiarity with project estimation and tender documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple design tasks under tight deadlines.
