Procurement Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Supervisor to join our team in a remote area within the Dammam region. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation within the industrial sector, specifically with experience in SPPC (Saudi Petroleum Projects & Contracts) or NWC (National Water Company) projects.
Responsibilities:
Extensive experience and knowledge in SPPC or NWC projects and subcontracting will be highly advantageous.
Collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs, specifications, and delivery schedules.
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service levels.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within procurement.
Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies to make well-informed procurement decisions.
Requirements:
Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Procurement Supervisor or similar role within the industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Must have technical knowledge of ductile iron pipes, fittings, flanges, pumps, instruments, and related equipment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with industrial equipment, materials, and components is preferred.
Willingness and ability to work in a remote area environment.
