Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Catering & Camp Supervisor. The role is responsible for overseeing all catering and camp operations, ensuring high standards in food production, hygiene, accommodation, and overall facility management.
Key responsibilities include supervising catering services, managing camp operations, coordinating staff schedules, and ensuring strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, particularly HACCP requirements. The Supervisor will monitor food quality, storage, and preparation processes, maintain cleanliness and safety across camp facilities, and ensure all services meet company and regulatory standards.
Additionally, the role involves handling resident concerns, coordinating recreational activities, training staff on operational procedures and hygiene standards, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Catering Supervisor, Camp Supervisor, or similar role in hospitality or remote site operations
HACCP certification (mandatory) with strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
Solid experience in catering operations, including food production, storage, and service quality control
Good knowledge of camp/facility management and accommodation services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently
Experience in staff training and development, particularly in food safety and hygiene practices
Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Ability to organize recreational or welfare activities for camp residents
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
