Job Title: Factory Manager – Industrial Gaskets Manufacturing

NOTE: Only candidates with direct experience in industrial gasket manufacturing will be considered.

Job Purpose:

We are establishing a new industrial gasket manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia.
We are seeking a highly experienced Factory Manager to build, organize, and operate the factory from the ground up, ensuring efficient production, on-time delivery, and high-quality standards aligned with oil & gas and industrial applications.

This role is hands-on, operational, and requires strong leadership and technical expertise in industrial gaskets manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

1) Factory Setup & Operations
• Lead the full factory setup including layout planning, workflow design, machinery selection, and manpower planning.
• Establish end-to-end production flow from raw material receiving to final delivery.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production, quality, safety, and maintenance.

2) Production Management
• Plan, schedule, and control daily and weekly production activities.
• Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of all customer orders.
• Optimize production capacity, manpower utilization, and machine efficiency.
• Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks and delays.

3) Quality Control & Compliance
• Implement and enforce quality control systems and inspection checkpoints.
• Ensure full material traceability, documentation, and compliance with:
• ASME B16.20
• API standards
• Customer and project specifications
• Reduce scrap, rework, and non-conformities.

4) Sales & Operations Coordination
• Work closely with the Sales team to confirm realistic lead times and production feasibility before order confirmation.
• Support Sales with technical clarifications, datasheets, and compliance documents.
• Maintain clear communication on order status, priorities, and delivery schedules.

5) Team Leadership & Development
• Recruit, train, and manage production operators, QC staff, and warehouse personnel.
• Build a disciplined, performance-driven factory culture.
• Conduct daily coordination meetings and enforce accountability across departments.

6) Continuous Improvement
• Improve production efficiency, lead time, and cost control.
• Prepare the factory for future certifications and audits (ISO, client audits, etc.).
• Implement lean manufacturing and best practices suitable for gasket production.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory Requirements
• 8–15 years of hands-on experience in industrial gaskets manufacturing.
• Proven experience with:
• Spiral Wound Gaskets
• Ring Type Joint (RTJ)
• Kamm profile Gaskets
• Soft Cut / Sheet Gaskets
• Strong knowledge of gasket materials (SS304, SS316, graphite, PTFE, CAF, etc.).
• Solid understanding of ASME B16.20, API, and oil & gas industry requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in production planning, QC systems, and factory operations.
• Experience managing production teams and coordinating with sales departments.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a Saudi Arabia–based manufacturing facility.
• Exposure to oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant projects.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, production tracking, and order expediting.
• Prior involvement in factory startup or expansion projects.
