Price Estimator Engineer (Saudi Arabia) – Al Malaz

Location: Saudi Arabia Industry: Construction / MEP / Industrial / Oil & Gas Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Price Estimator / Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates, analyze tender documents, and support the commercial team in pricing civil, MEP, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background with excellent analytical and pricing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.

• Conduct material take-offs for civil/MEP/architectural items as required.

• Prepare pricing sheets, cost breakdowns, and commercial proposals.

• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.

• Analyze project risks, cost impacts, and provide value engineering options.

• Prepare technical/commercial submissions for tenders and RFQs.

• Support the project and sales teams with pricing clarifications and adjustments.

• Maintain updated pricing databases and market rates for materials, labor, and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.

• 2–8 years of Estimation experience in construction, MEP, EPC, or infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.

• Strong knowledge of Saudi market rates for materials, labor & equipment.

• Expertise in reading drawings, specifications, and cost breakdowns.

• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with estimation software is an advantage.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

• English required; Arabic is a plus.
